Patients were assessed for Mucociliary clearance (MCT), Lund-Kennedy endoscopic score for crusts and mucosal edema; nasal obstruction, nasal discharge, and facial pain pre-operatively and on Days 7th, 14th, 21st post-operatively.

Sinomarin performed significantly better than isotonic control in almost all assessed parameters:
45% MCC increase vs control, 45% reduction vs control in crusting, nasal edema, discharge, obstruction & facial pain/pressure
