Sinomarin Hypertonic ENT presents superior efficacy versus isotonic solutions on patients’ nasal mucosa after septoplasty

2,3% buffered hypertonic seawater demonstrated statistically significant higher efficacy versus the isotonic solutions by: Increasing MCC │ Increasing nasal patency │ Decreasing edema

Study Details

Prospective, randomized study investigating the effect of different irrigation solutions for 20 days post operative on mucociliary activity & nasal patency, on patients following nasal septoplasty; equally and randomly divided into the following groups:
1) 2.3% buffered hypertonic seawater, 2) buffered isotonic (0,9%) saline solution, 3) non-buffered isotonic (0,9%) saline;

Product tested: Sinomarin ENT Hypertonic
